These external cites helped me complete my blog because
they gave me extra information and statistics on my three important topics.
They helped me extend and further develop my statements about gender
inequality, making my points stronger and more detailed. For example, I did not know that 28% of married men committed adultery in 1920, until I read it in an
article (cite #1). I would not have learned the statistics about domestic violence in the 1920s if i did not read the article by Hanna Cheryl (cite #2). Also, i did not know the statistics and new laws about women's rights if i had not read the article by Kate, Alyssa, and Jamie (cite #3). Finally, I would not have found the statement where Andrew
Wimbish said that NASCAR was one of the most gender exclusive sports, until I looked
at an article by Collegiate Times (cite #5). Without these external sources, my
points about The Great Gatsby in the 1920s would have been bare and simple, with
no relation to the real world.
